HONEYDEW PANTRY INVENTORY Blank manual worksheet | September 20, 2026 https://honeydewcook.com/guides/pantry-inventory-template Area (pantry / refrigerator / freezer): ______________________ Checked on: __________________ Checked by: __________________ Repeat this block for each item: Item + unit: ________________________________________________ Location: ___________________________________________________ On hand: ____________________________________________________ Reserved for which meal (and amount): ________________________ Available for another meal: __________________________________ Next use / package note: _____________________________________ Available = on hand minus reserved. Keep units consistent. If reserved exceeds stock, flag a shortage. Do not count the same meal in both reserved and new requirements. For new meals, buy the missing amount after using available stock. EXAMPLE Rice: 600 g on hand, 300 g reserved for Friday, 300 g available. New meals need 450 g: missing 150 g. If you buy a 1,000 g bag, record all 1,000 g arriving. Then 1,600 g is on hand, 750 g assigned across all meals, 850 g free. After cooking a planned 300 g: on hand 1,300 g, reserved 450 g, free 850 g. Cancel a remaining 150 g meal: on hand 1,300 g, reserved 300 g, free 1,000 g. Dry rice quantities. Illustrative accounting, not a tested recipe plan. UPDATE CHECK [ ] Add actual packages received, not just the pre-shopping shortfall. [ ] When cooking, reduce on-hand stock and that meal's reservation. [ ] When cancelling, release the reservation; uneaten stock stays. [ ] Check uncertain amounts before the next shop. Storage notes are reminders, not safety guarantees. Follow package and food-specific storage instructions. This sheet does not calculate expiry or sync with the Honeydew app. Honeydew created the template and makes the Honeydew app.
