How to view the original recipe source
Every recipe saved in Honeydew keeps a link back to the original source -- whether that's a food blog, YouTube video, TikTok, or any other website. You can visit the original page anytime to see additional context, photos, or comments the author may have included.
How to open the original source
Navigate to the recipe you want to view and tap on it to open the full recipe screen.
Look for the source link displayed near the top or bottom of the recipe. It usually shows the website name or URL where the recipe was originally found.
Tap the source link to open the original webpage or video in your browser. You'll be taken directly to the page where the recipe was published.
If you saved a recipe from a social media post (like Instagram or TikTok), the source link will take you back to the original post so you can revisit the video or read comments.
What if the source link doesn't work?
Occasionally, the original website may take down a recipe or change its URL. If the source link no longer works, don't worry -- your saved recipe in Honeydew is completely independent. All the ingredients, steps, and details you captured are safely stored in your account regardless of what happens to the original page.
