RedHoney

RedHoney is the parent company of Honeydew. We are a small app studio focused on making the best app experiences for the moments that show up in real life.

At a glance

RedHoney is a small, hands-on app studio. Our first app, Honeydew, is available today on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Who we are

RedHoney is the parent company of Honeydew. We are a small app studio focused on making the best app experiences for our users. We build apps we actually use every day in our personal, working, and family lives.

We are a small team that genuinely loves making mobile app experiences that solve things people and families run into every day. Staying small keeps us close to the product, close to user feedback, and honest about whether something feels good enough to use every day.

What we care about

  • Building around everyday problems that people and families actually run into.
  • Making mobile experiences feel clear, warm, and reliable.
  • Caring about the small details that make an app easy to trust.

Our apps

Honeydew is our first app out in the world. It helps people save recipes, organize what they want to cook, plan meals, and make grocery lists from the recipes they already love. You can find our apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Why RedHoney

The name RedHoney comes from our founder's family history. Our founder's great grandfather started keeping bees as a hobby, and that tradition has carried on through the generations to today. RedHoney is a nod to that history and to a family that has always loved bees.

Honeydew is our first app out in the world, but the spirit behind both names is the same: thoughtful work, built with care, for the people closest to us.

How we choose what to build

We start with the routines we understand best: cooking, family planning, home life, work days, and the little bits of friction that tend to pile up. If an app can make one of those moments calmer, faster, or easier to enjoy, it is worth our attention.
