Add Honeydew to your shortcuts (Android)
The fastest way to save recipes on Android is to pin Honeydew to the top of your share sheet. Once it's pinned, Honeydew will always appear as one of the first options whenever you tap "Share" in any app -- no scrolling required.
Pin Honeydew in your share sheet
In any app (a browser, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), tap the share button to bring up the Android share sheet.
Scroll through the row of app icons until you see Honeydew. If you've just installed the app, it may be near the end of the list.
Press and hold the Honeydew icon. A small menu will appear with the option to pin it.
Select the pin option. Honeydew will now be locked to the front of your share sheet so it's always within easy reach.
The exact wording and appearance of the pin option can vary slightly between Android versions and device manufacturers, but the long-press method works on most devices running Android 12 and above.
Add a home screen widget
For even faster access, you can add a Honeydew widget to your home screen. The widget gives you a quick shortcut to open the app or start saving a recipe without navigating through your app drawer.
Press and hold an empty area on your Android home screen until the customization menu appears.
Select the Widgets option from the menu.
Scroll through the widget list or use the search bar to locate Honeydew.
Press and hold the widget, then drag it to your preferred spot on the home screen.
Pinning Honeydew in the share sheet and adding the widget together means you're never more than one or two taps away from saving a recipe, no matter where you find it.
