Can I use Honeydew on a computer?
Honeydew is primarily a mobile app for iOS and Android, but you can save recipes from your computer using the Honeydew Chrome extension. A full web app is currently in development.
The Chrome extension
If you browse recipes on your computer, the Honeydew Chrome extension lets you save recipes with a single click. Install it from the Chrome Web Store and click the Honeydew icon whenever you find a recipe you want to keep. The saved recipe syncs instantly to your phone.
Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for "Honeydew Recipe Extension," or follow the link from within the Honeydew app. Click "Add to Chrome" to install.
After installing, open the extension and enter your link code from the Honeydew app (found in Settings). This connects the extension to your account.
When you find a recipe on any website, click the Honeydew icon in your browser toolbar. The recipe will be saved and synced to your phone automatically.
Web app coming soon
We're currently building a full Honeydew web app that will let you browse, organize, and manage all your recipes from a desktop browser. Stay tuned for updates.
In the meantime, the Chrome extension is the best way to save recipes you find while browsing on your computer. All saved recipes sync seamlessly to your phone.
