How to delete your account
If you'd like to delete your Honeydew account, you can do so from within the app or through our website. Please read the information below carefully before proceeding, as account deletion is permanent.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your recipes, collections, meal plans, and account data will be permanently erased. Make sure this is what you want before proceeding.
Before you delete your account
There are a few important things to take care of before deleting your account:
- Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your Honeydew account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel it separately through your device's subscription settings to avoid being charged.
- Export any recipes you want to keep. Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover your saved recipes.
- Make sure this is what you want. Account deletion is irreversible.
How to delete your account from the app
Launch the app and tap on the Settings or Profile icon.
At the bottom of the Settings screen, you'll find the Delete Account option.
You'll be asked to confirm that you want to permanently delete your account. Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize.
How to delete your account from the website
You can also request account deletion by visiting honeydewcook.com/delete-account. Follow the instructions on the page to submit your deletion request.
What gets deleted
- Your Honeydew profile and account information.
- All saved recipes and collections.
- Meal plans and grocery lists.
- Any other data associated with your account.
