I was logged out and lost my recipes and subscription
Don't panic -- your recipes and subscription are not gone. Everything in Honeydew is tied to your account, not your device. If you were unexpectedly logged out, all you need to do is sign back in with the same account you originally used.
Why this happens
Occasionally, app updates, device restarts, or security measures can cause an automatic sign-out. This does not delete any of your data. Your recipes, collections, and subscription status are all safely stored on our servers and will reappear as soon as you sign back in.
How to get your recipes back
Launch the Honeydew app on your device. If you're signed out, you'll see the sign-in screen.
Tap the sign-in option that matches how you first created your account -- Google, Apple, Facebook, or email and password.
Once signed in, your recipes, collections, and subscription should all be restored immediately.
Can't remember which sign-in method you used?
This is more common than you might think. If you're not sure whether you signed up with Google, Apple, Facebook, or email, try each option one at a time. You won't create a duplicate account by attempting to sign in -- if there's no account associated with that method, the app will let you know.
A quick way to narrow it down: if you're on an iPhone and use iCloud, try Sign in with Apple first. If you use a Gmail address, try Sign in with Google. These are the most common sign-in methods.
Be careful not to accidentally create a new account by signing up with a different method than you originally used. If you sign in with the wrong method, you'll see an empty recipe library. Simply sign out and try another method.
Still can't find your recipes?
If you've tried every sign-in method and still can't locate your recipes, reach out to us at support@honeydewcook.com. Include the email address you think is associated with your account and we'll help you track it down.
