Honeydew 1.8.5
Move an existing recipe library into Honeydew, connect your cookbook to Claude, and enjoy a smoother experience across iPhone and iPad.
Honeydew 1.8.5 is here with a simpler way to bring an old recipe library into Honeydew, a new connection for Claude, and a round of improvements that make the app feel better in everyday use.
Bring recipes over from other apps
You can now import your recipes directly from 12 popular recipe apps on your iPhone. There is no need to move them one by one or rebuild years of saved recipes by hand. Choose the app you are coming from, follow the guided import, and keep cooking from the collection you already made.
Connect your cookbook to Claude
The new Honeydew connector lets Claude work with your saved cookbook. You can ask about recipes in plain language, find something that fits what you have at home, and organize your library without digging through every folder yourself.
Setup instructions are available inside Honeydew, so the connection stays straightforward and close to the recipes it can help you use.
Better on iPad and smoother sharing
Shared recipes now have a favorites filter on iPad, and centered layouts make better use of the larger screen. We also redesigned the share sheet and fixed a rare crash that could happen while sharing a recipe.
Stability and polish
This update includes faster navigation and fixes throughout the app. They are small changes on their own, but together they make saving, finding, and sharing recipes feel more dependable.
Your recipes, ready when you are.
Update Honeydew to bring recipes over from other apps, connect your cookbook to Claude, and enjoy a smoother experience across iPhone and iPad.
