Save from Facebook
Recipe posts pop up all the time on Facebook -- in your feed, in cooking groups, and on food pages. With Honeydew, you can save any of those recipes directly from the Facebook app in just a few taps.
How to save a Facebook recipe
Scroll to the Facebook post that contains the recipe you want to save.
Tap the "Share" button at the bottom of the post. This will open Facebook's sharing options.
Select the option that opens the Android share sheet so you can share outside of Facebook.
Pick Honeydew from the list of apps in the share sheet. Honeydew will receive the link and start extracting the recipe.
Once Honeydew has processed the post, review the extracted recipe and save it to your collection.
A note about groups and private posts
Honeydew works best with public posts and posts from public pages. For recipes shared in private groups, the share-to-Honeydew flow still works, but the link itself may require Facebook login to access. In those cases, Honeydew may have limited ability to extract the full recipe automatically.
If Honeydew can't fully extract a recipe from a private group post, try taking a screenshot of the recipe and sharing that image to Honeydew instead. The AI can read recipe content from images just as well.
