Save from Pinterest
Pinterest is a goldmine for recipe inspiration, but those saved pins can pile up fast with no easy way to cook from them. Share a pin to Honeydew and it will pull out the full recipe -- ingredients, steps, and all -- so everything is organized and ready when you want to cook.
How to save a Pinterest recipe
Tap on the recipe pin you want to save so it opens in full view.
Tap the share icon (usually a three-dot menu or a send/share arrow) at the top or bottom of the pin.
Choose the option that opens the Android share sheet so you can share outside of Pinterest.
Select Honeydew from the share sheet. The app will receive the pin link and begin extracting the recipe.
Honeydew will follow the pin to its source and extract the recipe details. Review everything and save it to your collection.
How it works with recipe pins
Many Pinterest pins link to full recipe blog posts. When you share one of these pins, Honeydew follows the link to the original source and extracts the complete recipe from there. This means you get the full ingredient list, detailed instructions, and often the original recipe image -- all neatly organized in your Honeydew collection.
Pins that link to a recipe website give the best results since Honeydew can access the full recipe page. For pins that are just images with no source link, try sharing the image itself -- Honeydew's AI can extract recipe content from images too.
