How to cancel your subscription or free trial
You can cancel your Honeydew Plus subscription or free trial at any time. It's important to know that cancellations must be done through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store -- not inside the Honeydew app itself.
Deleting the Honeydew app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your device's subscription settings to stop future charges.
Cancel on iOS
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your name at the top of the screen to open your Apple ID settings.
You'll see a list of all your active subscriptions.
Select the Honeydew subscription from the list.
Confirm that you want to cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again.
Cancel on Android
Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
Then tap "Subscriptions" to see your active subscriptions.
Select the Honeydew subscription from the list.
Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation. You'll keep access to Plus features until your current billing period ends.
Canceling a free trial
If you're on a free trial and want to avoid being charged, you need to cancel before the trial period ends. Follow the same steps above to cancel. Once canceled, you'll still have access to Plus features for the remainder of the trial period.
After canceling, your subscription stays active through the end of your current billing period or trial. You won't be charged again, and you can re-subscribe anytime if you change your mind.
What happens to my recipes?
Don't worry -- your saved recipes are safe. Canceling your subscription does not delete any of your data. You'll still be able to access your recipes on the free tier, though some premium features will become limited.
