How to add a password if you signed up with Google, Apple, or Facebook
If you originally signed up for Honeydew using Google, Apple, or Facebook, you can add an email and password to your account. This gives you an additional way to sign in and is especially useful if you want to access Honeydew on devices where your social login isn't available.
How to add an email and password
Launch the app and tap on the Settings or Profile icon.
Tap on your account section to view your account details.
You'll see an option to add an email and password to your account. Tap it to begin.
Type in the email address you want to associate with your account. This can be the same email linked to your Google, Apple, or Facebook account, or a different one.
Choose a strong password. We recommend at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Tap Save or Confirm. Your account now supports both your social login and email/password sign-in.
After adding an email and password, you can sign in using either method -- your social login (Google, Apple, or Facebook) or your new email and password. Both are linked to the same account.
Why add a password?
- Sign in on the Honeydew web app at app.honeydewcook.com when your social login isn't available.
- Have a backup sign-in method in case you lose access to your social account.
- Share access with a family member who doesn't use the same social login provider.
