Save recipes from your notes
If you've been keeping recipes in your notes app, Honeydew can turn that loose text into a properly formatted recipe with separate ingredients, steps, and details. No need to retype anything.
Option 1: Share directly from Notes
Open the note that contains your recipe in the Notes app (or any other notes app that supports sharing).
Tap the share icon in the top-right corner of the note.
Tap the Honeydew icon in the share sheet. Honeydew will receive the text content of the note.
Honeydew's AI reads the text and automatically separates it into a recipe title, ingredients list, cooking steps, and other details.
Check the formatted recipe, make any adjustments, and tap save.
Option 2: Copy and paste
In your notes app, select all the recipe text and tap "Copy."
Switch to the Honeydew app.
Tap the add button and select the option to import from text or paste. Honeydew will detect the recipe text from your clipboard.
The AI formats the pasted text into a structured recipe. Review it and tap save.
The AI works best when the text includes clear ingredient amounts and cooking steps. Even if your note is rough or informal, Honeydew's AI will do its best to organize it into a clean recipe format.
